Weather

The weather in Puntarenas in September would best be described as pleasantly warm - between 76 and 82 degrees Fahrenheit. Average rainfall in September is about .01 inches on the days it does rain, so not very rainy at all.

Just a short drive from the Jungle Bungalow, this private oasis has a private pool, and is a great space to hang out during your free time, when you're not surfing the waves or exploring the rainforest.

FAQs

Check-in is at 4PM. One of our staff members will be there to greet you and show you to your room.

On departure day, check-out is at 9AM. Please check-out with one of our hosts.

Probably not your ski jacket. Or that set of golf clubs. Costa Rica has a tropical climate, so pack accordingly. The nights can get a rainy, so a windbreaker jacket and a few light layers are great. Other than that, bring all your travel essentials, some good quality suncream. We will also be sending you a "what to pack" list as your trip gets closer.

There will be WiFi at the villas, but we recommend thinking of this time as a period of disconnecting from your devices and connecting on each other. Still, we realize the need to keep in touch with work, kids, or whatnot. Just keep in mind that you are in a foreign country and connectivity might be different than what you're used to. Also, make sure to check with your mobile provider to determine if you need to make any changes to your calling or data plan. (International roaming charges are no fun!)

In addition to the planned activities included in your retreat package, there will be free time and plenty of opportunity for you to schedule activities on your own.

Please select your payment arrangements carefully, as they cannot be amended after registration. Payments will be automatically charged on your agreed upon dates by our merchant service. Failed payments may result in loss of deposit, and cancellation of registration.
